Requirements Before Baptism

• Both parents must be baptized members of the Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church
• Godparents (ሞግዚት) must be confirmed communicant members of the church
• For infants: Boys are baptized on the 40th day; Girls on the 80th day after birth
• Please bring the child's birth certificate and parents' church membership cards
